Transport
Once you've arrived, there are endless ways to connect to your final destination. From private limousines and airport transfers, public transport including the Airtrain from Brisbane Airport, G:link on the Gold Coast plus taxis, Ubers, buses and the Hopo Gold Coast Ferry. But if you’d prefer to self-drive, there are hire cars to choose from plus scooters and e-bikes to hire once you’ve settled in.


Climate
Gold Coast is known for its sunny, subtropical climate (around 300 days of sunshine a year), with warm days, cooler nights, and refreshing ocean breezes. Summer afternoons can bring brief storms. Temperatures typically range from 12.5–28.4°C, and the water is warm enough to swim year-round.
The region operates on AEST (GMT+10) and does not observe daylight saving.
